For some reason I missed that this was a box of 50 separate cards and not a book. Not sure how I feel about that.

The city walks comes in individual 4×5 cards, which you can select the walks you want to do and just take the cards to paris and not the whole box of 50. The only thing I wish the cards would tell me is an estmation of how long the walk is in time and distance.

When we had downtime or yet to be of schedule, I would pull this out and off we would go for a tour! A perfect compliment to a transit pass.

I had never been to Paris so I bought this small gem of adventures. Every morning when my spouse & I chose what part of town we were going to visit, we took the cards of that area with us. They were fantastic! And the maps are clear enough that you can vear off the path for a while and then get right back on. Highly recommneded!

I used these cards on a visit to Paris a few weeks ago, and I have to say that I establish them much more beneficial than the several guide books that I also had. Each day I would just pick the area I wanted to explore, take out the cards from this pack from that area, and use them as a all-purpose starting point to explore the area.
There is a really appealing selection. All of the main “touristy” areas are covered, but what I establish much more appealing were the slighlty more off the beaten track walks. They help you learn some of the “additional” sides to Paris.
Each card has a map on one side, and a written guide on the additional which includes notable sights, shops, cafes etc as well as the suggested start point Metro station.
The only thing that might have been added was a Metro map.
I was very pleased with this product and I will use the City Walks for additional cities that plot to visit in the future.
