the book was fine but I bought it new from amazon for a college class. Used expedited manner of language since I needed it ASAP and I received it with the take in ripped in two and the first 17 pages all cut up. I don’t know what Amazon was doing sending out a book like that, especially when you’re paying extra for quicker shipping. I couldn’t judge they were allow such poor quality to place their warehouse. I was so disappointed.

It took a very long time to get the product. It would have been helpful if the seller took some time to send me an email when the book was shipped. It was in very excellent condition and there was a nice note attached. The shipping process was very slow, and no communication between the seller and I. Additional then that I was pleased by what I got.

I am a college student taking an Enviromental Science class that uses this text book. All the things you will need or want to know about the Planet’s sustainable enviroment and how it shapes our lives is not enough to learn in one semester or quarter, but the leader G. Tyler Miller JR. does a fantastic job of condensing a LOT of vital information into this text.
One of the fantastic things is that the leader invites the students who read his text to send him comments or question him questions. Miller openly admits in the text that he thinks enviromental science is the most vital thing you will learn in your lifetime. It dictates your health; the kind of water you drink and how your food is grown and what is in the air you are breathing right this moment. From how unsafe waste, soil management all the way to the path of sustainability this book has pretty much everything you want to know about the enviromental sciences (albiet condensed). It’s even printed on recycled paper.
