Saw this book in a glide shop in Phillipsburg, Monatana. I have only been a serious glide fisherman for about 5 years, so I still don’t know very much. I kept going back in this glide shop to look at this book and determine which dry flies I needed to pick to immitate the bugs I was seeing on the water. I was killing it on the Madison, Gallatin, and Huge Hole rivers after looking through this book. After my fourth trip in the shop and no longer pretending to be looking at the additional over-priced glide fishing gear, the owner questioned if I was ever going to buy this book. I went back to the cabin and ordered it for half the fee they were asking at the glide shop. Long tale fleeting. . . this book has some very accurate representations of flies and the stage they should be in at different times. It helped my glide fishing tremendously, but then again, I didn’t know much to start with.
