I originally did a search for a book on teen behavior. I didn’t realized that this book was in the religous section, otherwise I would not have bought it, as I am not religous. The leader uses a lot of quotes from the Bible and overuses the word “God”. I got 3/4 of the way through the book and chose I had had enough of the religous references.
Overall, the leader did a excellent job using examples of poor behavior, excellent behavior, and how to deal with the poor behavior.
I would recommend the book for religous people but not to persons who prefer non-religous based books.

I am so thankful to have this insight and help. I bought this for my son that is a pastor. My daughter-in-law establish it in the car,on opening it she said the very question she had been asking the Lord concerning her four year ancient was answered in one page.
It has also agreed this 65 year ancient grandmother some insight into my relationship with my grown children.

This book provides helpful insights into a teen’s world, and practical ways for parents to work with their teens through the challenging teen years. The last third of the book provides fleeting sections on a variety of point problems a teen may face, with advice for parents in helping their teen through the problems. But my advice is to read the book straight through, because much of the material in the first two thirds sets the basic groundwork for understanding and helping your teen.

Book arrived in mint condition. Well written but I needed a small more depth or detail for my teen. I would say this is a excellent starter book for dealing with teens.
