But the message and spirit of Mr. Hamilton come through.
Very powerful is his fall and phoenix like rising from the grip of drugs,if Josh does nothing else on the baseball meadow,his ability to rise out of the depths of hell should be a cautionary tale for persons with powerful talent as well as persons of us lacking that gift.
As with most sports books this will not captivate you with well crafted language,but again,it is the message not writing you look for in this type of book.
A quick read,I finished in one day. The thoughts and pondering,is still going on.
This is a excellent book,not a MUST read,but certainly worth the time.

No matter how hard Josh Hamilton tried on his own, he could not kick all the terrible things that possessed him. Only through God’s help, and Christ’s, was he finally able to get free of these encumbrances.

Very nicely made hardcover book. Pages are well inserted and the book is of privileged quality than some. It reads easily and is inspirational for persons that may be struggling with drug or alcohol addictions. Each chapter outlines the trials and tribulations as well as the comeback Josh made to get to where he is today.
