Product Description
Ten years after Blayne Thorpe first encountered Bo Novikov, she still can’t get the smoothtalking shifter out of her head. Now he’s shadowing her in New York – all seven-plus feet of him – determined to protect her from stalkers who want to use her in shifter dogfights. Even if he has to drag her off to an isolated Maine town where the only neighbours are additional bears nearly as crazy as he is. Let sleeping dogs lie. Bo knows it’s excellent advice, but he can’t place Blayne be. She may insist Bo’s nothing but a pain in her delectable behind, but polar bears have patience in spades. Soon she’ll realize how excellent they can be together. And when she does, animal instinct tells him it’ll be worth the wait.

Blayne Thorpe and Bo Novikov are the perfect odd couple. I like their tale. It was a excellent read for me. I rate this 4 stars.

Thought the tale was very amusing. Blayne is a lovable character (rumor has it that to nearly everyone she comes into contact with even the dreaded Polar Bear community). I loved the interaction between Blayne and the bear-cat hybrid, Bo. Bo is an annal-retentive time/schedule obsessive hockey player. Blayne is everything he is not. The cleaning and straightening eposides were way amusing. I especially like the screaming “Can’t you see I am talking here?”
To top it off, Blayne’s father is super amusing and nothing the reader would expect. The fact that he truly adores his daughter, but has a lousy way of showing it adds to the entertainment. My one complaint is that the plot surrounds only the relationship between Bo and Blayne. There is a very tiny subplot of the full-humans capturing hybrids for a fighting ring, but Laurenston keeps it in the far background as a replacement for of grasping the opprotunity of developing this appealing topic.

Really!- anticipation for this book was really high. Dialogue not as witty or amusing as the others in the series.
