Although new to beading this book provided some fantastic information on the processes involved. I establish it to be very helpful and will refer to it again and work on some of the projects establish inside its covers.

If it was nothing else, this book is major luscious eye candy for jewelry makers. The photography is wonderful and the projects are to die for. Ms. Miller is so creative, she had me running down lists of projects I want to do within five minutes of just skimming through the book.
On my first read-through, I thought, there’s no way I can do this stuff. It does come across as a bit daunting – all the tools needed and really, do I want to make my own jump rings? Eek! I’d say I’m a moderately veteran jewelry maker and that’s a small above what I would want to do, but by the third time reading through the book, I started to judge I could handle reasonably a few of the techniques Ms. Miller was showing and even looking through my own stash of tools, establish I really was only missing a handful of her recommended items.
I carefully checked supply sites and establish what I was missing for less than a hundred dollars and with the beads I have, look forwards to trying these projects. The directions are so clear and concise and as I said, the photos are so detailed, I’m confident that I really can pull them off.
I recommend this book highly for the slightly veteran jewelry maker – I do reflect it might be a small much for a name just starting off, but if you’re familiar with handling some of the tools already, then I reflect this is just a wonderful extension of your skills and a fantastic way to flavor up what you’re already doing.

I am permanently increasing my library of jewelry artisan books. I have spent hundreds, perhaps thousands of dollars on books that are poorly written and illustrated. Not this time! This book is fantastic. Sharilyn has truly outdone herself with perfectly illustrated step-by-step instructions. She has shown a particular stroke of genius in that she divides the book into two parts. The first part teaches the reader how to make their own wire findings. The second part uses persons techniques to teach the reader how to assemble the jewelry. It is by far the most used book in my collection. Brilliant job Sharilyn!
