The AP Biology advanced placement examination book and CD-rom is very helpful and has proven very valuable as a study tool.

The book is mediocre.
The information is very concise and clear, but the charts are very hard to follow, many of them superfluous.
Also, the book is riddles with errors, especially concerning classification.
Let’s hope they get fixed by the 3rd edition.
Like the questions though, they really target what you don’t know.

the book gives the explanation in a excellent way [as a synopsis]. The most useful reflect about the book is that it gives you two practice test and a diagnostic test [made up of ap questions], it also has free-response questions =)
