I personally didn’t like this book, even though a excellent friend of mine had recommended it. It has a lot of the info that you either already know, or you got in the literature you doc of hospital gave you, or you can easily find free, online.

When I first read this book a few months ago, I was really impressed with the wealth of information it contained. But, now I am really concerned about the information provided about some of the more controversial topics such as breastfeeding and vaccinations. I can’t help but feel that the leader was paid off by formula and vaccine companies. I recommend Baby 411 only to parents who will do their own independent research regarding the “hot topics” discussed in it.

So far the most succinct, simple-to-use, informative reference book for new baby. The info appears to be very up to date — unlike some of the additional books on the market that really have misinformation that can harm baby — and the tone of the book is very helpful and direct. It’s fantastic for reading front to back to prepare you for what’s yet to be, and even moreso an brilliant spot reference book for the up-to-the-minute problems encountered.

Baby 411 is a must have for every mom. Got one when my granddaughter was born and it was a life saver. Answers for every question, practical advice, just can’t be beat! I give them for to every new mom as a gift.
