I had to read this book for my honors Theatre class, and let me tell you it is the most dull book ever! Sure, the leader had some excellent points, but he didn’t need to drone on and on about them forever! Nearly no one in my class liked the book. We especially didn’t delight in his comment “Go beat your wife and kids”. there are far better books out there. Do Not read this book! The only additional books as terrible as this one are “The Scarlet Letter” and “Walden”

I recieved this book in a timily matter, which is vital since the book is being used for an auditions class. The book was in excellant condition, and I thank you for the book.

Want to get the part? Read “Audition” by Michael Shurtleff/Bob Fosse. Want to see everything incorrect with theatre? Watch “Waiting for Guffman” (very amusing film). Want to be legendary? Are you sure? Read “My Broke Life” by Rikki Lee Travolta.

Even if you have no interest in the entertainment industry at all, the book is worth reading. I have gotten better insight about personal relationships in this book than in any book devoted to the purpose. Just two points: Shyness is wanting to be bold, and one of the largest reasons to have friends is to have a name to compete with.
