I place this out on my coffee table right before Christmas. I had skimmed it and wasn’t overly impressed. Most of the stuff in it has already been in the magazine. But, over Christmas, everyone that came into the house selected it up and spent at least an hour reading it. They all wanted to know where I had establish this unique decorating book. So, if you don’t read the magazine already, you might delight in the book more than a regular reader. After buying the book, I did throw out some of my back issues because all the information/pictures are in the book.

A snafu, once again, with the Amazon ordering process. I received a duplicate book shipment. Now, I have to make a trip to the post office to return, at my expense!

Really loved the houses in this book. Lots of thoughts for any home, Eichler or not. Well recommended!

This one is mostly colorful 50s furniture and accessories, a la “George Jetson”. I was looking for more architectural house thoughts. Not enough of that to excite me, but if you are looking for something with mid-century Eames era, atomic type furniture and that type of colorful, decorating styles, this is the book for you.
