I don’t reflect the book had ever been used and is in perfect condition. I am very satisfied and bought a book for my friend as well.

Don’t appreciate the use of American units for amount of flour used in recipes. Please reflect of non-American buyers when preparing the next edition.We’re not used of using cups here in the continental Europe and it’s hard to get American sized cups. And please use it in the recipe don’t place some partial reference chart at the end of book.
On the same note-if using Fahrenheits do please use Celsius.
I tried most of the recipes in the book and some are excellent and some are not so excellent…preparation is messy, dough came out really sticky and wet despite ample use of flour and following recipe to the point.
In the end i chose to stick with more traditional mode of preparation and i like the finished product a lot more. I’m using recipes from Joy of Cooking which presents me with the same problem of using measuring cups and all that but it’s such a excellent cookbook that i chose to look past that. And there is a excellent reference chart in it. I also like bread recipes from any of Jamie Olivers book.
All in all-wouldn’t buy it again.
