As a replacement for of providing original thoughts, the leader sorry to say wastes time trying to sound like a cool pseudo-psychologist – a waste of money for us readers. For persons with either apartments or houses who are on a budget and want to make their homes more gorgeous and comfortable quickly, Lauri Ward’s latest book, Home Therapy, is the real deal and the book to read.

After reading some of the reviews I bought the book. Sorry to say, I feel like I wasted my money because it failed to give me what I needed: excellent basic thoughts to make my tiny apartment look better and to some extent stylish. As a replacement for, the leader offers some pretty cheesy-looking thoughts that would be excellent for a dorm room. For anyone who needs more, look elsewhere. This book should have been titled “Closet Therapy.”

Does the leader reflect that we readers will not see through the transparency of his condesending and patronizing tone and his unoriginal thoughts? Did the five star reviewers read the same book???
Mr. Gillingham Ryan takes himself way too seriously as a therapist and not seriously enough as a decorator. We readers want effective design solutions and not a lot of hype. Sorry to say, after spending hard-earned money seeking the ex- we are left only with the latter. Can we get a refund for the leader’s malpractice?

I haven’t even read this book yet, but I bought it for a gift and have just received it. Lacking having read it – just know, there are no pictures! It is printed on that cheap kind of paper, not glossy white. I thought it was going to be the type of book that is filled with fantastic sample images of cool designs. Its probably not worth the effort returning it, but I don’t reflect I will bother giving it as a gift.
By the way, I bought this book because I like the AT website. It didnt live up, I should have gave it less stars.
