The only response that an intelligent person can have to this piece of crap is revulsion and shock. I read a small of it near the end and establish it entirely disgusting and worthless. It is despicable, and the leader of such trash can only be looked upon as depraved. It is of no value whatsoever, and I can barely contain my rage in writing this review, that some readers establish it ‘hilarious’. The leader is sick and needs to be place away.

This book makes as strong a case FOR some form of censorship that I know. Do NOT read this book if you are looking for something uplifting. Bret Eason Ellis aims for less than the lowest common denominator in all of us though “American Psycho”. I will no longer buy anything published by Vintage. And we marvel why high school kids are shooting each additional! “American Psycho” is murder as fad.

The endless descriptions of what the characters are wearing…wears thin after the first couple of chapters. Boooorrrrinnnngggg.

I expected to read lots of scenes of torture and murder. Half the book is a list of clothing stores and foodplaces for having no effect, worthless yuppies. There is only a small violence peppered throughout the pages. Where’s the beef?
