Jesse Ventura tells it like it is, and this time he tackles our government’s largest secrets. In this explosive account of wrongful acts and on-going take in-ups, Jesse Ventura takes a systematic look at the wide gap between what the American government knows and what it reveals to the American people. For too long, we the people have sat by and let politicians and bureaucrats from both parties obfuscate and lie. And according to this ex- Navy SEAL, ex- pro wrestler, and ex- Minnesota administrator, the media is complicit in these acts of deception. For too long, the mainstream press has refused to consider alternate possibilities and to question the tough questions. Here, Ventura looks closely at the theories that have been open over the years and separates the fact from the fiction.
In Ventura’s eyes, the murder of Abraham Lincoln and the assassinations of the Kennedys and Martin Luther King, all need to be re-examined. Was Watergate open honestly, or was the CIA involved? Did the Republican Party set out to purposefully steal two elections on behalf of George W. Bush? Has all the evidence been open about the 9/11 attacks or is there another angle that the media is worried to explore? And finally, is the collapse of today’s financial order and the bailout plot by the Federal Set aside the widest-reaching conspiracy ever perpetrated?
“If you’re talking candid, unconventional, and no-holds-barred, you’re talking Jesse Ventura.”—Larry King
“I wouldn’t mind seeing Ventura run for president (or for senator, or dog-catcher, or whatever). In addition to talking conspiracy, he’s likely to raise all sorts of additional distress.”—Damon W. Root, Reason Magazine .

It’s doubtful that Ventura believes any of the tired re-hashes of standard conspiracy theory dreck he “writes.” He’s hit upon a profitable niche for himself, though. Usually, most conspiracy books are self-published by loonies and only promoted on the Coast-to-Coast AM radio show. But as a ex- administrator, Ventura seems like an insider to all the kooks out there who eat this stuff up. Conspiracy nuts will read ANYTHING by ANYONE. And since Ventura is one of the few purveyors of nutty theories who can get guest slots on mainstream TV to promote these whacked out tracts, it’s like guaranteed sales.
Ventura is a smart guy. Too smart to buy into the easily debunked garbage in these books. As a ex- pro wrestler, the man knows how to sell a sham. He’s a marketing genius, and looked fantastic in a spine boa.

It must be the Thermite paint!
Jesse is very smart in one area. He watches JFK, Conspiracy Theory and additional Hollywood conspiracy movies and then writes a book about them, telling people they are real and makes a lot of money off of perfect morons.
Do not read this book. It is a joke. Don’t encourage this mental uncomplaining. He needs to go away

I have yet to read this book but I’m giving it 3 stars because Ventura is right that the events he covers were high-level, government conspiracies. I’m concerned because hi show on 9/11 was terrible and it’s very hard for me to judge that anyone who’s not controlled challenger gets on Larry King or “The View.”
I would urge anyone interested in conspiracies to research the Bush-Harriman Nazi collaboration via Union Bank.

On the face of it Jesse Ventura is presenting to us another set of theories as to how we have been duped by one body of opinion or action, which of course makes for engaging reading when one has the time to sit and digest such stuff. For amusement only, I assure you.
But, from an observer’s perspective (and I won’t qualify what makes me an ‘observer’ as am not inclined to hand a name a stick with which to beat me. Take this as it is written and place beside the point value judgements aside) America has changed small. From the days when the Puritans thought they could influence the court of King James, then persons of additional northen European countries as they sought a place for what they loosely described as religious freedom and were finally flung across the ocean America has been characterised by persons who seek to ‘leverage’ one over another; witness the slavery issue over federalism in Kansas in the 1840s. Each step of America’s history has been characterised by betrayals and dirty deeds. Ha! As if any additional country’s history is any cleaner. The difference is that virtue by which is held the sword that smites; for some obscure reason or another America stil believes it has the moral high ground and that the world should be ‘God-fearing, right thinking Americans’ (which is not a terrible thing if you take place to be an American. Not so much fun if you are Afghani but. I digress.) – and so in that virtue lies the desperation with which acts such as killing candid leaders, leading a generation of on the breadline, outcast men to their deaths, ensuring the populace is subjugated by their own greed rather than order, contriving international events that allow the physical intervention of a mighty force that professes excellent and ‘freedom’ and so on. The sad part is that, certainly, it is all possible – every additional regieme on the planet has blood of some kind on its hands. If there is a shocker in here anywhere it is not that these events did or did not take place, or indeed that they could do so. It is that others like them have happened, but we have lied to ourselves. We have sat forceful in our confortable prosperity living the lie that we are indeed the denizens of the moral high ground and that it is enough to be American to be free and right and the saviour or the world. And we have not questioned any of it.
Oh, for goodness sake! Recall once upon a time there was a corruupt and idle regieme that persecuted and taxed its populace to the point of incurring the wrath of the private citizen? So much so that dissent became rife and persons very citizens rose and threw off the mantle of lies and corruption and deception, preferring as a replacement for to risk life and property for their own ‘freedom’ And they fought, died and prevailed for it. And in 1776 they got it.
Where did it go? Why does nobody question questions any more? Are we that bone idle? There does not need to be a conspiracy theorist in the midst of any of this – just a citizen who knows what a citizen is; that you vote and can challenge anything you are told. Do not accept that serious voice that tells you ‘Sir, you must do it the way the corporation/government tells you.’ No you don’t! In fact if the voice is so very serious and the suit just that bit sharper than yours, you can bet your last dollar they are pulling the wool over your eyes. Corporations answer to shareholders – us, governments to voters – us, and so on. And you are one of millions of us. If you want a conspiracy theory look in the mirror. You, America, have conspired to isolate yourselves from the reality of going out and living a life; learn and be curious, don’t be fed knowledge; work to erect in the same way your forbears built this country, don’t sit in a cube and push buttons; question questions, don’t be fed anything you don’t know; join together in your community to become politically aware. The more you know and do the less anyone (if one day a name decides to really have a conspiracy, if in the mean time Jesses’s book turns out to be incorrect…) can take from you. Read this book and delight in; you can lie with thr truth and you can tell the truth with lies so this engaging leader takes us nowhere. It’s rubbish, but excellent quality, entertaining rubbish. But the possibility of a truth behind it is not – and it is not the truth that these things happended, but the truth that Americans could let it slip by lacking doing anything. This permanently was a gorgeous country ‘the people’ once thought worth fighting for. Americans, take your country back again!
