All ears on a global cultural perspective that incorporates research on adolescence through emerging adulthood
Grounded in a global cultural perspective (within and outside of the US), this text includes a considerable amount of anthropology, sociology, and international research in addition to the compelling psychological research on adolescent development. This book also takes into account the period of emerging adulthood (ages 18-25), an area sometimes neglected but of particular interest to many students who see themselves reflected in the research.

This book has fantastic explanations of the developing adolescence. The leader utilizes descriptive examples and visuals; to help better know key terms. Amazon’s manner of language was well-organized. I got this book within 2-3 days, and the condition of the book was fantastic!

When I ordered this book, I was under the impression that it was in a book format, there was NO indication that it was a binder, and when in fact I received my order, it was sent in a green binder with some of the edges of the pages torn. The seller should have specified the binding. I could not return the book because I needed it for a test, but for future reference, I will never buy from this seller again. I felt cheated of my money and would suggest that you do not buy from them.

This book is the required text for an adolescent psychology course I am currently taking. I reflect one of the strengths of the book is how it incorporates a global, cultural perspective. But, a lot of the information is sort of tedious – it includes a lot information a psychology student has probably already seen or will go over in different courses.
