I thought this was brilliant. I have recommended it to several people. This book will stay on my shelf. If you are trying to know the craziness an addict can make in the family tree and how addiction affects so many people in the addicts circle of family tree and friends, this is a fantastic book.

I very recently learned about my adult son’s alcohol and prescription drug addiction. This book helped immensely in dealing with what this means, what to expect, and the small that I can do to improve his disease (as well as the many things I could easily and ignorantly do to make something worse it).
