The tale line was ok. A small dull, a small slow, but then a few chapters into it I realized this is just another one of the hidden Christian propaganda books. Amazon should start categorizing these books with religous content. The abstract does not mention anything about its religious slant. I know it was a free download, and if Christian books are your thing – then get the book (although the writing was a bit amatuerish) but buyer beware!!

This book would have been much better if either of the main characters were just a small bit appealing. A excellent premise spoiled by predictable writing. The main character, Melanie, deserved no empathy or sympathy until the very end, of course… Also, the Christian message didn’t fit with the plot – as a replacement for of enhancing the tale, it just got in the way.

Appealing concept, but the tale fell fleeting due to the elementary writing style and simple plot (if you could call it that). No depth or complexity to tale line or writing style. Annoying characters…predictable…unlike real life.

The beginning of this book nearly had me deleting it from my Kindle. I felt it poorly written and irritating rather than captivating. Persevering, the tale became more appealing with all of the unforseen events that arose from a choice to seek a legacy for a dead child. I did like the emphasis on healing, forgiveness and doing the right thing.
