This book is packed full of information. Can be a bit overwhelming and dull at times. Chapters are long. I feel much of what is said is very appealing and informative, but could have been said in a more concise manner.

If a name is interested in the Deaf World, this is the book to start with. It’s comprehensively written with deep insights into the Deaf World. There are many misconceptions about the Deaf and their Culture in our society, and this book tries to clear the confusion. It can get a small long winded, but I urge anyone to push through these few parts. The journey is worth every word. What surprised me most was the fact that there really was a push to eradicate the Deaf Culture and Deaf people in all-purpose, and not so long ago. It’s an eye-opening journey; a journey worth taking.

I establish this book to have alot of information that was reasonably appealing. The beginning was very dry and dull, after that very informative yet this book was pretty one-sided. Not a quick read either
