Product Description
A Course in Miracles starts…
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
As its title implies, the Course is arranged throughout as a teaching contrivance. It consists of three books: Text, Workbook for Students, and Manual for Teachers. The order in which students choose to use the books, and the ways in which they study them, depend on their particular needs and preferences.
The curriculum the Course proposes is carefully conceived and is clarified, step by step, at both the theoretical and practical levels. It emphasizes application rather than theory, and experience rather than theology. Although Christian in statement, the Course deals with universal spiritual themes. It emphasizes that it is but one version of the universal curriculum. There are many others, this one differing from them only in form. They all lead to God in the end.
The Text is largely theoretical, and sets into the world the concepts on which the Course’s thought system is based. Its thoughts contain the foundation for the Workbook’s lessons. Lacking the practical application the Workbook provides, the Text would remain largely a series of abstractions which would hardly suffice to bring about the thought reversal at which the Course aims.
The Workbook includes 365 lessons, one for each day of the year. It is not necessary, but, to do the lessons at that tempo, and one might want to remain with a particularly appealing lesson for more than one day. The practical scenery of the Workbook is underscored by the introduction to its lessons, which emphasizes experience through application rather than a prior commitment to a spiritual goal:
Some of the thoughts the workbook presents you will find hard to judge, and others may seem to be reasonably startling. This does not matter. You are merely questioned to apply the thoughts as you are directed to do. You are not questioned to judge them at all. You are questioned only to use them. It is their use that will give them meaning to you, and will show you that they are right.
Finally, the Manual for Teachers, which is written in question and answer form, provides answers to some of the more likely questions a student might question. It also includes a clarification of a number of the terms the Course uses, explaining them within the theoretical framework of the Text.
The Course makes no aver to finality, nor are the Workbook lessons proposed to bring the student’s learning to completion. At the end, the reader is left in the hands of his or her own Internal Teacher, Who will direct all subsequent learning as He sees fit.

because if you reflect this is the way to go, you are truly in need of it. First, a careful reading of the Bible mentions fake prophets and such (after end point of the Bible) but otherwise says nothing occurs till time for “rapture” and 2nd coming. Unless you want to aver we’re in second coming, people who hear from Jesus are either deluded or fake prophets. You are free to choose which. On that basis, but, the thoughts espoused in the book are either pointless, useless (if delusional), or meant to pull people to the Anti-C if fake prophecy. Again, your choice. (Free-will – remember and apply it !!!)

This book is full of contradictions and the leader himself said:
QUOTE:
“The Course previously was clarified in such a way that people didn’t know it. I hadn’t read it before my second visit from Pursah and Arten and I couldn’t have understood it lacking them.”
So guess what guys, not only could you not know it, he didn’t bother to overview his own, or rather Satan’s own work, AND COULDN’T UNDERSTAND IT HIMSELF! HELLOOOOOOOO! SO, tell me how you are able to benefit what this master of wisdom himself could not benefit from himself! You made this liar rich, meanwhile you snub people like me who make the truth unadorned and clear and do it LOUDLY as Lovey Smith one of his followers acknowledges in the comment not more than. Get a clue already people, it’s right in front of your faces.
Not only does he admit to writing something that couldn’t be understood, even by him, and gives no apologies or inkling of refunding anyone’s money. Oh, and do read the rest of his rant, the man contradicted himself on key points a few times in the article I quoted from.
Check out this lunatic whopper, in which he contradicts himself after one sentence (and shows he is insane or lying):
“…because seemingly separated minds are joining. There is really only one mind; only one thing is here. No, because we cannot enlighten another person nor does being in the presence of an enlightened person enlighten us. Each of us must work through our own lessons of forgiveness and make up our own mind.”
Hey guys? If none of us can enlighten, that is TEACH ANYONE ANYTHING, why are you guys rating me or anyone else’s review? Remember! you can’t be taught anything according to this master of wisdom! WHY BOTHER READING HIS BOOK EITHER, NONE OF US CAN BE ENLIGHTENED LOL! And guys! There is only ONE MIND, yet insane man, or liar, or both, said, “EACH OF US” and “OUR OWN MIND.” Guys, what “own mind” if there is only ONE? So this guy thinks he’s talking to himself? He thinks the person questioning him is really his own mind and he’s telling his own mind to teach it’s own mind (which can’t be enlightened lol)? So were all one, yet leader also says we’ve each got our own mind. It’s not possible to benefit from a lie, there may be truths mixed into his book but why not get the truth pure, it’s all around you: hint hint the best selling book in the world with the most commentaries on it in the world. Any truth that comes out of this man’s mouth is not because he’s wise in morality clearly. You are much better off listening to a name who is consistent and doesn’t contradict himself left and right.

Warning: this book is not chrisitian but New Age and the Occult. The leader spent the last two years of her life in the blackest psychotic depression according to psychologist and priest Fr. Benedict Groeschel who is also an practiced in private revelations. Go to the EWTN website and find the article in the document library under the heading of New Age and Cults, keyword A COURSE IN MIRACLES. Fr. Groeschel was an aquaintance of the leader and gave an tribute at her funeral. Fr. Groeschel believes that the leader’s experience with the channeled “spirit” was possibly a right diabolic manifestation.

If you’ve ever wanted to read “cunning visions of like” or “attitudinal beliefs” by jim cunningham from the movie “donnie darko” look no further!the new age b***s*** is available in “a course in miracles”.I never really read this book, but my mother and sister got about half way through it and their discussions ongoing to make less and less sense to me they ongoing talking about the “ego” (it made me laugh on the mock ad on “donnie darko” when the one “dread survivor” said she saw her “ego reflection” when she looked “through the mirror”)and i can’t remember what happened to God in the discussions but one of the most frightening things to me as a christian was when they were explaining to me that Jesus was a excellent “teacher” and besides that was excactly the same as us,that right there is one of the most obvious sign thta this book is really new-age drivel and nothing a christian should have anything to do with, stay away!it’s fake.even in the opening pages it claims that Jesus is A way to God,um as a christian we know he is THE way.anyways, sooner or later God got through to mom and my siste rthat this is NOT of Him so we burned the books,my gosh, persons did not want to burn!it took a loooooong time for them to give in to the flames, but they eventually did.smelled like sulfer………..

The book arrived in a very fleeting time, and in fantastic condition. It is pretty in-depth reading and can be a small confusing. I’m not very far into it but still pushing yet to be.
