Simple read. Very excellent info. If you can get the audio, it is entertaining and fun to listen to. I have twins and the book’s info helped me with setting excellent boundaries and helping my kids make excellent choices. Fantastic gift for parents.

It was my error to order the version for kids, but I must say, it seems to have been geared for kids younger than my 9 year ancient anyway. So much is common sense and seems to be just another version of “time outs,” but I will try the adult version next to gain more insights.

When all else fails, this is the book and method to rely on. Very simple to learn and apply straight away for parents and kids. It is unique in that it is designed to be a child’s book as well as a parent resource. I read together with my 3yr ancient and discussed the pics and text, he was interested in the dynamic between the 2 girls in the tale and questioned to read it for several nights. He was excited that he was a part of the solution and that he had a responsibility as did I as a parent. This book helps illustrate that responsibility and makes it come to life. It is not designed to rid your family tree of problems all together rather a cool way to handle problem situations as they arise and allow both kids and parents to exercise self control in the heat of the moment. Worthwhile in every aspect!! Try it and you will see a difference in yourself and your kids!!

I bought this as a companion to 1-2-3 Magic. My five year ancient son loved reading it with me. It is a chilren’s tale version of 1-2-3 Magic. It was wonderful to have 1-2-3 Magic clarified to him through this children’s tale version of the book as a replacement for of having me try to clarify it. In the book, a small girl tells her friend about how 1-2-3- Magic works. It goes through the basics in a way that is simple for a child to know. 1-2-3 Magic has worked wonders for my family tree. I am very pleased that I bought this book with the original.
